Covers count-based and neural language models, Transformers, alignment, reasoning, RAG, multimodal extensions, with emphasis on ethical, transparent, globally diverse models.

Learning objectives

  • Explain language modeling principles (count-based, neural, transformer)
  • Implement small-scale models with PyTorch and Hugging Face
  • Fine-tune specialized / multimodal models; design basic AI agents
  • Identify and mitigate ethical risks (bias, misinformation, under-representation)

Admission

Micro-Degree programs from the German University of Digital Science. Designed for lifelong learning / professional development. ECTS earned may be recognised toward full degree programs (per university rules). English-taught interactive online format.
